A Fairy Celebration Shadow Box

Image
I have been having a great time doing the Shadow Boxes with Card Stock! Spent some time on Pinterest and seen the one I cased mine from and fell in love with it... I had to give it a try. Mine isn't near as beautiful as hers but I haven't done many yet. I have a feeling I may be making many more...      I found the original on Pinterest but went to her blog to see more of her photos so I could better see some of her detailing. I don't have the Stampin' Blends as I like the bold and bright colors of just the markers. I did some type of shadowing 😂 but just used lighter or darker markers.      I don't have many colors in 12x12 either so I used the sponge brayer to sponge my whisper white card stock blue.      It is quite a lengthy Product List so if your casing from my blog, Please feel free to ask if I have forgotten something. Wow... That's a lot of stuff... no wonder I can't see my work station! 😉 Product List Stampin'

A Perennial Birthday

I love to do Sketch Challenges so I'm always looking for new challenge blogs... I found one and loved the sketch! It's called The Paper Players blog and this is my first go at doing their challenge! Sunday March 25th's Challenge PP386   and I am really pleased with how it turned out! Nothing extravagant but still very cute!      I think everything is pretty straight forward as to how I did everything. I did pop up the 2 flowers over top of the stamped one, they are also embossed with clear embossing powder so it was easier to color them. I think if anyone wanted to case it, it would be easy for them. Shadow Box for Stampin' Up! Achievement Pins

Image
I saw an idea done like this by Angie Honegger on the Demo Planning Place on Facebook and really had ideas flowing to do this for all My Mom's Achievement Pins! I think it really turned out great... I was just glad I was able to make it just big enough using a piece of retired Specialty Paper Bride.      This is not my first frame... I did do another one thinking I would need a strong paper but you really don't! I was not pleased with how the corners went together and it didn't want to stick in places. I'm not a scrapbooker so I don't have much for 12x12 CS so I found this and thought it was perfect! By the time I layered my Gold and the new Sale-A-Bration DSP, Springtime Foil, it was lots strong enough. I have an old Bigz Die called Petal Cone and it worked perfect for the stand at the back.
